Remote Desktop Support

For our existing customer’s we offer a quick support service for those little problems or questions that maybe don’t require an onsite call out but may require a ‘guiding hand’ for your own piece of mind!

We use a simple and more importantly completely secure Remote Support Client to enable our engineers to interact with the customer’s computer and often resolve any minor issues without the need to book a callout.

  • Software does not need to be installed

If prompted choose ‘Run’ (Chrome and Firefox will automatically download in most cases) Depending on your version of windows you may be prompted to confirm you are sure you want to run the software, Click ‘yes’

Please give the ID and password to the engineer

If you get a prompt saying ‘Microsoft Recommends installing this app from the Microsoft store’ please do the following:

Click ‘Change my App Recommendation settings’

Under Choose where to get apps click the drop down box and change it to ‘Anywhere’

Close the box and re-run the program. if you can’t find the program click ‘Try again’ on the Teamviewer windows.

Please note in some situations a call out may still be required after initial inspection of the system or if the engineer is unable to repair the problem satisfactorily over remote control
